DESCRIPTION

NIRAVASI is a PC-exclusive RPG Maker MV Dark Adventure game, set within the ruins of an ancient human city. Taking inspiration from games such as Yume Nikki, .flow, and Cat in the Box. NIRAVASI focuses primarily on exploring the ruins of the derelict city, while also avoiding the horrific mechanised monsters that patrol it. With a large emphasis on storytelling and visual horror, NIRAVASI will not only explore how Antherian archaeologist, Mura, came to be trapped here, but also tell the story of how the ancient city of old fell to ruin in the first place.

FEATURES

  • Explore the ruins of a long-dead civilization, uncovering the mysteries and stories within its walls.
  • Escape from a vast army of mechanical proxies and the machine intelligence that leads them. As you progress, you'll have to start planning how you approach certain encounters with these machines.
  • Traverse through 8 unique levels, including an ancient Stepwell and flooded city quadrant.
  • A pixelated art style, complete with chiptune audio SFX, with a dark and foreboding soundtrack to support it.
  • You get to play as a Cat.

ABOUT THE GAME

After working on my previous game, BLANK, I wanted to create another title on the RPG Maker platform. But rather than follow the same process I did with that game, I wanted to try something new in both a written and visual storytelling approach. Furthermore, I've always been a big fan of ancient architecture and visual storytelling, so I wanted to make a game that would not only entice the players into exploring a strange new world, but also indulge themselves in topics that may ask the player a lot of questions.

NIRAVASI includes partial support for controller-play, but is primarily focused on Mouse 'n' Keyboard action.

ABOUT ME

I'm an independent video game developer, based within the UK. I'm a former Graphic Designer, looking to dip their toes into the video game's industry, as well as show the world the kind of stories I love to tell. I've always had a great passion for video games that focus on narrative storytelling (such as BioShock, Fallout, and Mass Effect).
